| Pyrex Butterprint Turquoise
I love vintage Pyrex. There are so many beautiful patterns, colors and variations that you come across. I used to be in a Facebook group called Pyrex Lovers (or something like that). What a bunch of cheeky fiends. There was no love in that group. They were constantly accusing other members of being PYREX POSERS and testing their TRUE LOVE of Pyrex. It's PYREX! Not Channel. Get a grip. I eventually had to leave the group because I couldn't take the mean spirit. I did learn that there are some actual crazies that have their bodies tattooed with Pyrex patterns.
So now, at this late hour, I have a dilemma. Do I finish watching season 3 of Orange is the New Black or do I hit the Goodwill before it closes? Hmmm.
Later tightwads!

I love it. I love it! I LOVE IT!
Today was a good day. I found a set of vintage Pyrex Mixing bowls in a Butterprint pattern for only $5. SCORE!

Welcome to my Blog!

Yard Sale--noun
a sale of used or unwanted household, personal items, bric-a-brac, etc., typically held in one's garage or yard.
Yenta--noun slang
a person, esp. a woman, who is a busybody or a gossip.
That pretty much, sums me up! I LOVE to go "sale-ing" on a Saturday morning. Can you relate?
There are so many reasons that I love to sale. I sale because I'm cheap! "Two dollars for a knock-off Chanel handbag; are you kidding? Will you take a dollar?"
I sale because I love meeting people! You'll never guess who I met yesterday; Gwyneth's former nanny! She sold me a pair of never worn, Anya Hindmarch (not made for Target), hot pink espadrilles for $3.00 (no extra charge for the nanny gossip).

I sale because I love to get up at the cranny of dawn, pull on my sweats and sneakers, grab a cup-o-joe to discover a treasure amongst the trash. Every time I pull up to the curb of a sale, I get butterflies in my tummy. What valuable gem awaits?
